radiology. The team wishes to engage companies or academic groups with experience in bioresorbable/materials and polymers - ideally with micro spinning facilities - to establish an R&D collaboration.

A team of cardiologists at a leading London-based hospital wishes to develop a novel stent device for use in congenital heart disease and interventional
radiology. The device would function in a similar way to stents currently available but would differ in its longevity and long-term mechanism of action.
The team has extensive expertise in cardiovascular medical device development and is in a position to thoroughly test the device in dedicated inhouse
research and development facilities. Funding has already been secured for the animal studies once the device is produced.
