North Rhine- Westphalia (NRW), as an individual state, ranks 17th among the world’s largest economies. Approximately one million people in North Rhine- Westphalia are employed in the healthcare industry. Therefore the healthcare industry can be seen as a major industrial sector both in NRW and Germany.
Within the six health regions (Aachen, Cologne/Bonn, Münster, East Westphalia-Lippe, Ruhr Metropolis, South Westphalia) a multitude of project approaches and cooperative relationships can be established.
